I have to admit I felt a little silly and narcissistic when considering doing my first ever (personal) style post. Or considering doing style posts at all, really.
Funny.
See, I’m usually the stylist behind the camera, or the shopper behind the stylist behind the camera, so I’m not used to documenting my own outfits.
But I sure do enjoy putting them together.
And with a litte friendly encouragement (thanks Rachel!) and a co-conspirator in crime/photographer (thanks Kerri!) it was a pretty fun (and painless) adventure.
I definitely need to learn to smile though!
Here are a few more:
And here’s the details:
The Outfit: Missoni for Target Top, Vintage green skirt, Banana Republic Trench Coat, H&M tights, Miss Allbright Shoes, Clare Vivier Bag, Timex Watch, Rayban Aviators.
Makes me Feel: Fancy.
The Photographer: My darling friend Kerri. Have her teach you pilates.
The Location: Pumpkin Patch on Larchmont (North of Beverly). They seriously had the most gorgeous, unique, and dare I say heirloom, pumpkins, gourds, and super gourds (bigger than my head!) All super affordable, all for charity. Go, go, go!
ps. Pumpkin Pancakes tomorrow. With magic sauce.

So glad you’re back!! I’ve been missing my “Ms. Awesome” fix!!
P.S. I have to thank you for your Ms Awesome blog, because you opened my eyes to gorgeous, nontraditional (ahem, affordable) engagement rings! My boyfriend and I just sat down and designed the one that I will be wearing (SOON, I hope!) and I can’t WAIT. So thanks! I owe you one.
Hooray! I’m so glad you found your way over here AND I’m very excited about this nontraditional engagement ring business! I can’t wait to hear ALL the details!
I looove those dotted tights!
Thank you! I think they add just the right amount of fun + I love me some mixed patterns!
Yay! I was missing your blog. Love your outfit post and can’t wait to see more. I’m a huge pumpkin fan, too, so please share your recipes
Thanks! And don’t worry, I have the perfect recipe for the weekend! Come back tomorrow!
Also those drinks you posted on your blog? yumtastic. I did feel a little funny drooling over alcohol so early in the AM, but what’s a girl to do?
This is fantastic! I love seeing how different prints and stripes can be paired together. And I agree with Kim, please share your pumpkin recipes!!
Thanks Rachel! You were my big cheerleader in posting style posts, so I’m especially happy you like it! And don’t worry- the pumpkin recipes are a comin’…
I’m so excited to see more of your outfits! I love this one, especially the tights and skirt
Thanks lady! It’s so nice to be back, I can’t believe how much I missed you all!
Yayy! So happy to be reading you again, though I’m very sorry that Ms Awesome seemed to vanish
I absolutely ADORE your style and I hope that you do more posts with your personal style! You’re too adorable to not be in front of the camera once in awhile!!
Adding this blog to my reader now!
So happy you’re blogging again! And I want some of your fancy style (and ability to pull off fancy tights). And those pumpkins.
You could pull off fancy (let’s be clear we’re talking H&M here though) tights for sure! And they’d look amazing on your super long legs!
And seriously- you should check out the pumpkin patch, it’s little, but the pumpkins are so pretty and unique.
Love this outfit! The pop of green is so perfect. I’m excited to follow you as you embark on new adventures over here!
Thanks Connie!
I can’t remember if I told you that I made your lavender simple syrup and have since turned it into all sorts of delicious sauces and yummies, so thanks!
And I’m glad you found your way over here!
