I don’t know if I even have anything left to say. Is that lame?
I’m just so happy when I look at this gorgeous wedding.
It’s infectious. And it sure beats this cold I’ve got!
Also, I need to know what’s up with that choreographed dance.
Ladies? Perhaps a word or two in the comments?
And I wanna throw down on that dance floor.
And finally, if you’re just now joining us, I’d encourage you to be more prompt next time (kidding) and to check out Part 1 and Part 2 of Melanie + Vickie’s colorful love-filled wedding.
Thanks again for sharing ladies! I’m so glad I could contribute even a teeny-tiny twirly bit to such a ridiculously fantastic celebration!
Appropriate ribbon-related crafts to follow.
See you guys back here in a bit!

Truly a beautiful wedding! You can feel the love in these photos, and the colors are so fun. This is what weddings are all about
Yes. Those feel the love photos make me all mushy gushy!
Wow!! I love everything about this! Can’t wait to see your DIY crafts! And along that line- I’m in the middle of creating a fabric flower bouquet- flowers are done, but I can’t figure out how to attach “stems” (they’re just flat on the back). I remember a tutorial on your brooch bouquet- what did you use on that one?
Thanks!
Mmm… here’s a link to that tutorial in case it will help you…
It seems to me like a y (or v) shaped wire sewn to the back could work… Or maybe just an eye (like hook/eye) sewn into the middle and then wired- that would depend on how thick/sturdy your wire is…
More importantly- I’m dying to see your flowers! Are you blogging them? Or emailing me a picture?
Hi Tabitha — Thanks SO MUCH for blogging about Melanie’s and my magical (there’s no better word to capture that day) wedding! Reading your posts give me a much needed boost to get me through studying for the CA Bar Exam — thank you! Melanie’s and my wedding was the BEST day of our entire lives and I love being able to relive it through your posts.
Our day was filled was so much love from our families and friends and many fun surprises. Our off the grid setting helped people to live in the moment. As for our choreographed first dance, it was to The Fray “Look After You.” Melanie’s and our officiant Rami came up with the idea of a simple, fun, and funky choreographed dance because I cannot dance to save my life. Rami made our first dance fun and easy for me by incorporating swimming, high fives, kneeling, a kiss, and a lift. We pulled it off and I couldn’t stop grinning the entire time. Who does synchronized backstroke and breaststroke in their first dance? We do. Thanks again!
