Edible Adventures DTLA: The Pie Hole

Hey guys!
Sorry that I didn’t show up to the party yesterday- I actually slept in for once.
(I almost never sleep in!)

And then I had to run off to lunch with the lovely Alix of Cute and Delicious.
Her blog is definitely both, so watch out, once you click over I don’t expect you back for a veeeeerrrry long time.

Anyhow, we ate some delicious stuff at Cafe Gratitude, but I’m not sure it was any match for the cycle induced pie rampage that Kerri and I went on a few weeks back.

In my world, it’s hard to top pie.

Especially Thai Tea Pie (with toasted coconut and vanilla ice-cream) or Mexican Hot Chocolate Pie with espresso infused (see those dots?) whipped cream.

Ridiculous how good The Pie Hole is.
And so cute too!

You should definitely check it out.
I know I’ll be going back soon because I’m dying to try the Mac n’ Cheese Pie!
(yes, they have savory pies too)

Unfortunately I’m always too stuffed (with sweets, granted) to try the savory stuff.
And this particular day I was stuffed with ramen + fries from the delicious Flying Pig

…yeah, you’ll have to come back later for that.

I just felt like giving you a little dessert for breakfast this morning!
More edible adventures in DTLA this afternoon!

And… what’s your favorite pie?
