And a little of my weekend too…
My goal this weekend was to see as many friends as possible before I head out to New Orleans on Saturday, and boy was I an over-achiever. I managed to see a bunch of friends + enjoyed a few long bike rides, crazy coffee drinks, a rooftop hot tub, the dog beach, and a bottomless champagne brunch (with live jazz).
Success. And a sore ass.
Thanks friends!
It was a great weekend for me, and probably even better for Tallulah, who hit up the dog beach, and blew up on YouTube. Okay, okay, blew up might be a slight exaggeration, but I’m just a proud mama!
So indulge me and look at a few pictures of my cute dog, and then I’ll share a super easy (and wearable) DIY for all those instagrams (of your cute dog) currently trapped on your phone.
Oh, right, we had fun too!
And now…
My Crazy Dog Lady DIY for Kin Community:
Of course you could be a crazy anything lady (or man) and indulge yourself in this easy peasy awesome DIY. Well, almost anything.
Supplies:
Digital Photos/Instagrams
Photo Transfer Paper (mine is from Office Depot)
Tshirt
Iron
Instructions:
1. Edit your image in either Photoshop or PicMonkey (it’s free!) to add
washi tape/borders/etc… Or just print as is!
2. Print on Photo Transfer Paper and trim edges.
3. Iron your shirt.
4. Lay Image face down and iron in place for 2-3 minutes.
5. Once cool, carefully peel off backing and admire your new (and dorky) creation.
6. Go for a walk an feel so very meta.
I love the vintage vibe and the possibilities for heart-felt (or amazingly personal gag) gifts are endless.
So do you think it’d be weird if I started printing shirts with all my food pics?
Those definitely rival my dog pics…
Oh!
And how was your weekend?

I love your t-shirt DIY, and your pup is adorable!
The food pics would make amazing tee’s! If only they bottled smells like they bottle fabric paint for embellishment!!!
Ha ha- totally!
Thanks for being the most awesome friend distraction ever from obsessing about my bar exam results! I had a lot of fun on Friday thanks to you. Melanie and I can’t wait until you return so we can hang out some more! By then, I will be done studying for the bar exam. Love the dog t-shirt idea! Rarry is the perfect dog-model so I’m sure he’d look fab on a t-shirt. Have fun in Nawlins! Hugs.
Hug! Happy studying!
Great idea! Very retro! This would make a great gift!
The video is so so cute! Love it. And the idea of making the iron on shirt is such a fun idea…
