My coworker and I said yes to giving up our rooms at the Holiday Inn Express last week and got to stay at this amazing B&B in an old plantation house instead.
Isn’t my room gorgeous? And her blue claw foot bathtub? Swoon.
If you remember, saying “yes”, is a mantra of mine.
How about you? Do you find that saying “yes” pays off in unexpected ways?

Amazing. Saying “yes” definitely hooked you up! I use to be a hotel front desk agent earlier in life and I so wish more people could see the benefits of saying yes to these alternatives. It’s the best for everyone!
Wow, that’s insanely beautiful!
I try to say yes to things more often, too – usually, it helps in small ways, like leaving the apartment to do something even if I don’t feel like it at the time. Sometimes it’s much, much more terrifying, like the second shooting gig I have lined up with one of my very favorite photographers.
I almost always say yes, yes, yes to invitations or events.
I’m not as good as saying yes in these types of situations, too much type A in me, but your post is a good reminder that saying yes can lead to lovely adventures.
Yes I find that when I say yes, it does reward me in unexpected ways. Sometimes I’m afraid to do something or not quite ready for the challenge to do something, then I say yes and found out I could do it all along, or have fun. It’s always weird, but yes has given me a lot of good memories
