Here’s my first LA gift guide, and I have to say I’m pretty darn proud of it! And not only because I put all my new blogshop skills to the test. (I’m excited about that too though!)
Nope.
I’m mostly proud because I genuinely LOVE this stuff AND it’s all $10 or less. Really.
(okay, the pot holders might be a little more*)
But the salt, candles, and salt bowl clock in under ten smackaroos. Amazing right?
And just wait until you try the Black Truffle Salt! Or the Alderwood (it’s smokey!) Or the Thai Ginger. And the list goes on. At just $5 for a small bag or $10 for a little bottle, the price is right for all the foodies in your life! Hepp’s Salt Barrel is amazing, and can be found at various markets around LA or online for those of you across the country craving a little something salty! Like salt. Yeah I said that.
And do I even need to sing the praises of a high quality, handmade, soy wax candle for under ten bones? No. I don’t. Find Market Candles at Larchmont Farmer’s Market or right here online.
I think a little salt bowl (local here) or a few gorgeous potholders/tea towels would be a lovely addition to these market finds, but I would be thrilled to receive any of these yummy/useful items in any ol’ combination! (and hope my friends feel the same)
Any good gifts at your local market?

Amazing! I have a foodie friend whose birthday is on 12/24, and I’m putting together a gourmet gift basket for him. This truffle salt is definitely going in
Yay! Make sure you get some for yourself too!
You did such a great job!! Great guide too!
I just stumbled upon your adorable little blog! So cute!!
Thanks, and Welcome!
Mm, truffle salt sounds delish! I’m feeling like we need a trip to LA/California in general sometime soon, I’ve only ever been to the San Francisco/Berkeley area and I’d love to explore more of the state.
